This year began where 2012 left off. We created a traditional and millennial Gateway Community Credit Union television ad campaign, as well as a major marketing piece and a billboard. The TV spots were fresh and youthful which was right on point. The billboard reflected the millennial spot. Then Gateway asked us to come up with a New Member Brochure that they would give to people considering opening an account. The end result was a high-end corporate brochure. We wanted to reintroduce the numbers that had become commonplace at Gateway, but might be new to someone looking for a bank. So we incorporated key stats on each page that reinforced the page content. This piece had to bridge the gap between the traditional ad campaign and the new stuff targeted at millennials. It’s got an obvious Montana flair, but also a cool contrast in font and color usage.
Ad campaign: Money Money
Television commercial: Come Down
The success of the 2013 Gateway Community Credit Union television campaign is summed up in the Return on Investment. Every year that we did work for them, they increased their holdings. What more can we say about that?
What You Would Have Done Differently
There are always parts of every campaign that you look back on and go, “what were we thinking?” Most of the time those thoughts are pretty minor complaints. The general public rarely sees what we see. And so we’ll leave it at that. With the overwhelming success of the Gateway Community Credit Union television campaigns over the years, we’re not going to complain.
