Project Background:

The 2016 Montana Folk Festival website is an ongoing marketing effort as the festival has grown and progressed. It is the result of working with the National Folk Festival from 2008-2010. Every year we have helped design the marketing materials for both print and website. This has fostered a brand and style that has come to be expected. The main goal is to remind people of the upcoming event, as well as promote the culture and food, with an emphasis on the unique music. The festival website is always one of the first steps in the process along with the poster which develops the visual theme.

Success Metrics:

The Montana Folk Festival is one of the largest outdoor music festivals in the Northwest. The festival website receives more than 30,000 organic views per day during the event. Overall the festival draws over 150,000 people during the three-day event each year. The local economic impact is estimated at over $30 million per year.
