Gateway Community Credit Union had a huge push toward a new generation in 2012. That created the need for a totally new marketing campaign. We produced a television spot and a couple radio spots to match. The target market was primarily Millennials 18-24 and a little beyond.

The success of all the Gateway Community Credit Union marketing campaigns are summed up in the Return on Investment. Every year that we did work for Gateway, they increased their holdings. What more can we say about that?

What I Would Have Done Differently

There are always parts of every ad campaign that you look back on and go, “what were we thinking?” Most of the time those thoughts are pretty minor complaints. The general public rarely sees what we see. And so we’ll leave it at that. With the overwhelming success of the Gateway Community marketing campaigns over the years, we’re not going to complain.

Marketing Campaign: Last Best Credit Union

With the push towards the millennial generation, we didn’t want to forget about the foundation of the credit union. This television spot was more traditional and targeted at the working class. It’s called Last Best Credit Union.
